·         Actor Akshay Kumar has announced to donate Rs. 25 Crore to PM’s relief fund.
·         Tata Sons and Tata Trust have announced to contribute Rs. 1500 Crore to fight Corona.
·         BCCI has donated Rs. 51 Crore to PM’s relief fund.
·         Cricketer Suresh Raina has contributed Rs. 31 Lakh to PM’s relief fund and Rs. 21 Lakh to UP CM’s Disaster Relief Fund.
·         Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has committed Rs. 25 Crore worth of drugs and sanitizers to figh COVID-19.

·         Railway has prepared a prototype of isolation ward for treatment of Corona patients. Railway plans to prepare 10 coaches per week, which can be deployed in areas where it is needed.
·         Lockdown due to Corona has resulted in significant improvement in air quality in Delhi NCR. The air quality is now in Good and Satisfactory zone in many places.

Relaxed Payment norms for Discoms announced
The Ministry of Power has proposed relaxed payment norms for discoms in order to ensure continuous power supply during the lockdown period. It is assumed that discoms will not be able to make effective recoveries from its customers due to lockdown hence will be unable to pay to generating companies.
